Overview
CMIT/MIT Biocide is a highly effective broad-spectrum preservative and antimicrobial agent commonly used in industrial and consumer products. This synergistic blend of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (CMIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT) is widely recognized for its powerful microbicidal activity at low concentrations. It is particularly effective in water-based formulations and is used to protect against bacteria, fungi, and yeast.
